The bridle he's wearing is a typical Fortosian one, and the blue is the actual...well I'd say leather but it's probably a kind of synthetic really. xD
The scar on his stomach is from a big cat attack from when he was a yearling, seeing as he was in a nomad herd with only one Fortosian carer and his eyes couldn't be on every horse at once. Thankfully Damascus was a strong colt and managed to struggle and makes enough noise for the other horses to surge to his rescue. x3
