And here's a companion piece to my writing, Angus and Ox full bodies and riding too! 8D what is this madness?
As you can see, Ox is massive she gets her height from her sire, and his unfortunate facial features She towers over most of the other horses at Stonechat, and often uses this to her advantage, aka reaching up to grab the best apples in the paddocks She is actually a very slender horse when you see her in full- a strange combination given her heavy looking head and knobbly knees- but Angus loves her anyway. If she looks out of proportion, it's more than likely deliberate on my part: I was wincing a fair bit when I was drawing her OH THE CONFORMATION. Ox's genes clearly don't understand the concept of it!

This looks wonderful! I like how Angus is slowly warming up to Ox. ^^
I really like Ox's pose here, she looks very confident, if not proud. I also like how you draw the lil hairs over the hooves of your horses.. it's a small detail I'm always too lazy to bother with, but it looks really neat on yours. ^^
